Telegram bot store: your own bot with a catalog and order intake
Every tShop store has its own Telegram bot. It does not make customers navigate a limited command script: it opens a full storefront and receives order notifications.
Is this really my bot?
Yes. You create the bot through Telegram’s official service @BotFather under your own name and username. tShop does not issue one shared bot for all sellers: the token is connected only to your store, and only you manage it.
What can the bot store do
- Opens the catalog storefront from the menu button
- Sends you a notification for every new order
- Stores order history and customer data
- Send messages to all store customers from the dashboard
- Works without your involvement - all responses are automatic
- The token is stored encrypted on the server
How order intake works
The customer chooses products in the catalog inside the bot (this is the Mini App - learn more on the page about the Mini App store), places an order, and your bot receives a message with the order details, contact information, and amount. You then contact the customer directly - delivery and product payment are not automated and are agreed between you and the customer.
How to connect your own bot
- Create a bot in @BotFather with the /newbot command - it is free and takes a minute.
- Copy the token and paste it into the Telegram section of the tShop dashboard.
- Enter your Telegram ID so the bot knows where to send orders.
- Publish the store - the bot will start receiving messages immediately.

Frequently asked questions
Your bot sends a message with the order details and customer data immediately after checkout - the notification arrives at the personal Telegram ID set in your settings.
You can reissue the token in @BotFather at any time and simply paste the new one into store settings - the bot and all data will remain intact.
